Troupe Nambah entertained for the fifth year in a row at
Santa Clara's fabulous Art & Wine Festival. They performed a
new tribal and folkloric line-up in stunning new Red and Purple costumes.

The Cinnamon Stick Dance - a Nambah twist on folkloric
Egyptian stick dance.

Shiva and Bahira did a drum duet
highlighting isolation movements ending in an entire body shimmy.

Raks Faddah worked as a transition dance
to bring back Mandella and Fara'Asha for...

...the sultry Love Beats Back number.

The earthy Kodo kicked up the pace.

Fara'Asha, Shiva and Mandella performed a traditional drum
while Bahira prepared for her solo in the back.

Bahira felt it was fitting to change her usual Candle dance to a
"Wineglass" dance in honor of the "Art & Wine Festival." Bahira danced with
two wine-filled goblets and enjoyed the libation at the end of the dance!

Bahira finished with a
quick and sassy drum solo of her own and....

...the whole Troupe finished with a stately Sword Dance: "Kairo By Night."

Another fine finish for the Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival!
See you all next year...same stage...same day...same time....

Thanks to all of Nambah's friends and fans for coming to see us!
